The story behind Lazlo
Lazlo has a documented animation association through Camp Lazlo. Creator Joe Murray's studio describes the Cartoon Network series as developing from an earlier book project called 3 Beans, and labels an image of its Lazlo character. This directly supports the spelling used here. It does not justify silently changing Lazlo to another given-name spelling or importing that other name's etymology; an owner may simply be choosing the cartoon reference.
