Meaning and background
The story behind Lidia
Lidia is the Polish, Italian, Spanish and Georgian form of Lydia, a name derived from the ancient region of Lydia in western Anatolia. In Greek its sense is “woman from Lydia”, not a description of temperament. Spanish, Italian and Polish pronunciations differ slightly, so English-speaking owners may use the familiar Lydia sound or follow a family-language pronunciation.
