Meaning and background
The story behind Morning
Morning has surname histories beyond the everyday English time word. The Dictionary of American Family Names records an Americanized translation of German Morgen and, separately, Irish variants associated with Murnin or Murnane in Donegal and Wexford. A family tribute may therefore follow either history. Those routes should remain distinct from an owner's independent nature-word choice, such as remembering a dawn walk or a particular time of day.
