Xio appears in several distinct musical identities. Dioni Schoop’s own website describes XIO as a stage alias for an artist making R&B and pop from the Netherlands. Separately, the Palais de Tokyo identifies electronic producer x/o as Veron Xio, a Vietnamese-Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver. These documented uses give the spelling a contemporary music association, without demonstrating that the two artists share a name origin.
